Coal Trucks

The Council has been asked by a group of residents, SMELT, to allow a heritage display of coal trucks in the Sensory Garden. The cost of the trucks and the installation is funded by the original Saundersfoot Festivities Committee.  The ongoing maintenance of the trucks and tracks will be borne by the current Festivities Committee. SCC will be responsible for the maintenance of shrubs and hard landscaping and the insurance. 

A Wide range of local groups have written to the Council in support of the proposal.  After a two week public consultation, on 20th July Council will decide whether to move onto the next stage which would be to apply for planning permission.
